The Candino brand was founded in 1947 in Bienne. Inspired by the best tradition of Swiss master watchmakers, its founders combined quality with modernity. This rapidly translated into a wide range of innovative products geared to different target groups.
Two years ago, the Festina-Lotus group took over Candino and has succeeded in giving the company a new and dynamic profile in a very short time. As a result of different managerial strategies and new logistics, Candino is now in a position to meet the demands of a constantly changing market. Our production philosophy has been updated without making any concessions about quality, a principle which is the very foundation of the group's industrial approach.
Our production site, located at Herbetswil in the canton of Soleure, is now able to ensure a daily production of 2000 high quality Swiss watches. Every day, the site produces watches with Swiss-made precision quartz movements, as well as exceptional timepieces incorporating some of the most prestigious mechanical movements produced in Switzerland.
The main markets of Candino Swiss Watch are Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Northern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Since the second half of 2003, Candino Swiss Watch is also to be found on the leading markets of the Festina-Lotus group, i.e. Spain, Italy and France.
