Dôme
Watch in yellow gold and diamonds
Delaneau's new watch for 2003 departs from the extravaganza of the
Capricieuse models in a clean, architectural piece that is just
as stunning in its geometrical simplicity. The arch and the square
recall the majestic severity of Romanesque architecture, softened
by the polished curve of the gold case or ignited by diamonds. Plain
forms hide the functional complexity of the patented case, in an
original clasp and detachable bracelets.
- Delaneau's
Dôme watch in yellow gold 18cts.
- Detachable
bracelet/strap with patented clasp, attachment pins set with rubylsapphire
cabochons.
- Mother-of-pearl
dial with a spiral of Roman numerals.
- Quartz movement
with centre-seconds/small seconds.
Delaneau loves to make watchcases that open and shut, or with clever
clasps and bracelet attachments. In the Dôme watch, the arch is
the clasp. Simply lift, and the arch divides to open the strap.
As with virtually all Delaneau watches, you can click in a gold
bracelet, a satin band or a palette of gorgeous leathers.
The model cornes in two sizes with cases in the three colours of
gold, shaped for comfort on your wrist. Ruby or sapphire cabochons
put points of colour on the attachment pins. Two different quartz
movements give you a choice between centre-seconds, sweeping around
the dial, or small seconds in a sub-dial.
The dials are in opalescent colours or in mother-of-pearl.
