A symphony
in steel:
"Les Combes" by Edox.
- Over the
years, Swiss watchmakers have turned stainless steel into nothing
less than a truly noble metal. But only very few Houses have as
inventively and successfully made the most of its styling potential
as Edox.
- It features
designs sized and styled for both women and men, all fashioned
exclusively in steel-some two-tone, others vacuum-clad in yellow
gold, others still in "natural" steel, integrally polished or
satin-finished.
- One feminine
model goes even further, dazzling the eye with fine diamonds set
directly into grey-white steel.
- Fitted
with tried and tested quartz movements, the "Les Combes" line
does include one masculine design equipped with an ETA 11 ½ line
selfwinding caliber. Its four functions bring to life, with both
a center seconds hand and a date calendar at 6 o'clock, a dial
featuring a minute track, four-sided raised hour markers and three
Roman numerals along with a pair of sword-shaped hands.
- The case
furthermore features a transparent back through which the movement's
elaborate decorative finish can be admired.
- Along with
the Edox logotype and the inscription "Maîtres Horlogers" (Master
Watchmakers), the rotor displays a fine "côtes de Genève" design
while "snail" motifs and circular graining decorate the movement's
other visible surfaces.
