A.Lange & Söhne: GRAND ARKADE

The GRAND ARKADE stands for a great love - for great watchmaking achievements as well. And for the intrinsic virtues that immediately impressed connoisseurs in 1994 when the smaller ladies' model made its debut: Exclusive mechanical ingenuity with the typical attributes of Lange quality embodied in the manually wound ARKADE Calibre L911.4 movement. With the patented Lange outsize date and the classic subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock that creates a magic balance of the indications. Its shaped mechanical calibre, a hallmark of unprecedented craftsmanship, has plates and bridges made of untreated cross-laminated German silver, screwed gold chatons, blued screws, polished edges, the hand-engraved balance cock that venerates an old Lange tradition, a screw balance, and the typical whiplash precision index adjuster. A masterpiece of a movement that when admired through the sapphire-crystal caseback seems to open a window on time.

The GRAND ARKADE comes in four exclusive case and dial versions: a yellow-gold case with a champagne dial, a pink-gold case with an argenté dial, a white-gold case with a blue dial, and a platinum case with a rhodiumed dial. All glasses are antireflection-coated. The corrector which advances the Lange outsize date when necessary is recessed in the case adjacent to the crown. The GRAND ARKADE is provided with a true-to-style hand-stitched crocodile strap and the massive Lange prong buckle. Precious metal deployant clasps and bracelets are available on request as well.
