Taormina,
where the sea kisses the sky…
Each year, this tiny Sicilian town on the shores of the Mediterranean
hosts a famous film festival , the Taormina BNL FilmFest, which
will be reaching its 51st edition in June 2005. For the 3rd year
running, Harry Winston Rare Timepieces has been invited to create
the festival's official prize, "The Taormina Arte Award for Cinematic
Excellence". The brand could hardly have chosen a better place for
the launch of a diver's watch, water-resistant to 200 metres thanks
to its Zalium® case, a "lunar" alloy, unique in the world of Haute
Horlogerie.
