The Longines Sport Legends line pays tribute to the pioneers of discovery and sport whose exploits were timed and measured by Longines. This year the brand known by its winged hourglass trademark is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the wrist chronograph developed in 1938 for the cartographers of the Istituto Idrografico della Regia Marina in Italy by reissuing this model.
