A RETROGRADE CHRONOGRAPH
AT THE HEART OF THE ROTONDE
CHARRIOL presents the resolutely sporty ROTONDE 2007 watch. It looked
every inch the part when launched in 2006, and that dynamic appearance
is now matched by a corresponding functional capacity.
It arrived on the scene last autumn with its round case and notched
bezel, adorned with six round screw heads on hexagonal lozenges.
It now features a distinctive quartz chronograph which, in addition
to the classic central seconds hand, also offers a retrograde 60-minute
counter at 10 o'clock and a five-minute display on a retrograde
counter at 2 o'clock, while the analog small seconds subdial appears
at 6 o'clock.
"Black Line" or "All Steel"
The ROTONDE chronograph comes in two lines composed of three models
each. The "Black Line" is distinguished by a brand-new PVD charcoal
grey coating that is both shiny and ultra-resistant. Dominating
the 42 mm-diameter case and its specially designed matching bracelet
with the brand's characteristic visible side screws echoed on the
first links, the material provides a perfect backdrop for the steel
or red-coloured accents. This eminently masculine character is reinforced
by daring black-lacquered or red-lacquered dials, and a third particularly
high-tech one in carbon fibre. The "All Steel" line is a more urban
kind of sports model with all-steel case and bracelet, discreet
touches of red on the bezel and a choice of black-lacquered, white-lacquered
or carbon fibre dial.
ROTONDE
or "L'art de vivre la difference" as an obvious sports enthusiast.
