“Prominente” is the normal definition used for one of the most important bands in existence amongst Cuban cigars.
This cigar receives its name thanks to its imposing size (194 mm x 194 mm), making it one of the largest on the market.

The Cuervo y Sobrinos Prominente model is a watch designed for the untiring traveller; the demand for two sets of times is solved with great style and decision.
At first glance the watch’s face hides the indication of the second set of times, as though it were the second hand of a normal watch, but by taking a closer look the second crown that controls the second movement independently from the first will not go unnoticed.
In the colonial Havana of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, it was essential to live time always with an awareness of the time that corresponded to the other continent; the Havana of the epoch of adventurers, businessmen and great travellers constantly lived this twin sensation of time, their own and that on the other continent where they had frequently left their heart and sentiments.
For this reason we have endowed this watch with two movements, two hearts that beat as one but which show two different sets of times, so that the other half of one’s own heart is never forgotten.
The decided nature of the Prominente model is the one that Cuervo y Sobrinos have been interpreting for more than a century. Its generous dimensions (30 mm x 45 mm) make it an object of worship outside the constraints of an ever present classicism.
The thickness of the 22 mm strap and brackets, applied to the case’s sensual “curvex” shape, lends itself to enfold the wrist until it becomes an integral part of it.
Produced by Cuervo y Sobrinos either in pink gold, making it resemble skin even more, or in steel, six screws secure the back to the case, the face is adorned with numbers typical of the thirties and is available in pink, cream, black or “argenté”, with “decalqué” numbers. Inside are the two movements that activate this extraordinary watch, both with automatic loading, modified and positioned obliquely to endow this model with all the expertise that Cuervo y Sobrinos apply to all their models.
In addition to the convex sapphire glass with special reflection-prevention treatment, the soft crocodile skin strap with gold clasp personalized by Cuervo y Sobrinos or the special steel unfolding safety clasp, personalized with the Cuervo y Sobrinos logo.
This model is accompanied by a humidifier chest, expressly designed by Cuervo y Sobrinos for this particular occasion.
