The name Omegamania reflects a fancy design inspired by the Greek letter that represents the brand. The 27mm x 27.7mm case is in the shape of this letter and is available in polished 18-carat red or white gold set with 41 diamonds (0.87 ct).
Both versions are available with a white, black or red mother-of-pearl dial bearing merely a subtle Omega symbol and name and sleek Baguette-style hands.
A polished white, black or red calfskin strap is available with matching 18-carat red or white gold buckle. A large facetted scratch-resistant sapphire crystal adds to the unusual look of the watch.
The Omegamania is powered by the new Omega quartz calibre 4000, which has a battery lifetime of 49 months.
In the absence of a crown, a special stylus is supplied with the watch for adjusting the hour and minute hands by means of a push-piece at 3 o'clock on the side of the case.
Water resistant to 30 metres/100 feet.
