This, however, does not prevent it from having all the qualities of a large watch, and its design, which has become a hallmark of the Brand – soft lines and long, tapered horns – endows it with a peerless quality of charm and seduction. Its 18 carats gold dial is covered with a delicate layer of white mother-of-pearl and has four large applique Arabic numerals at the quarter hours. The white-gold case shimmers with 287 diamonds and is set off by an anthracite satin strap. The crown is set with a black onyx cabochon.

Girard-Perregaux's new Tourbillon with gold Bridge is a further addition to the RICHEVILLE line, whose elegant, fluid tonneau shape is admirably suited to this remarkable complication. The Tourbillon and pink gold Bridge can be seen through an opening in the cream-coloured dial, which features large applique Arabic numerals. The Tourbillon and cage comprise 72 components with an overall weight of only 0.3 gram, the equivalent, in other words, of a single swan's feather. The Tourbillon with gold Bridge comes on a hand-stitched crocodile strap with a gold buckle.

• The ladies' version, which houses a Manufactory-made automatic chronograph movement, is remarkable for its harmonious proportions, with its elongated horns elegantly extending the shape of the case to marry perfectly with the wrist.
• The case has a glass back, through which one can admire the column-wheel chronograph mechanism with its gold rotor, and is available in white, yellow or pink gold.
• The dials are mother-of-pearl or silvered with blue mother-of-pearl counters, or white enamel with large numerals.
