SEA HAWK II ®
The
Sea Hawk trademark was registered by Girard-Perregaux in 1959 to
designate its "marine" products. However, its first traditional
diver's models, with a screw-down crown and rotating bezel, didn't
appear until the mid-1970's.
In 1989, Girard-Perregaux produced a Sea-Hawk model destined to
become one of the pillars of its GP 7000 line.
Part of the sport-classic collection, the new Sea Hawk II will be
available in two sizes (Ø 40 mm and Ø 42 mm) and equipped with a
Manufactory-made automatic movement.
It has the following features: The back of the stainless steel or
titanium case is secured with 6 screws, guaranteeing water-resistance
to 300 metres. The sapphire crystal is anti-reflective.
The protected, screw-down crown is positioned at 4.30, and the indications
on the notched, unidirectional rotating bezel are engraved.
The easy-to-read dial, which has a 50-hour-plus power-reserve indicator,
is offered in four versions: opaline black with luminescent numerals,
and matt white, ruthenium grey or sapphire blue with applied numerals.
This very smart model comes on a steel or titanium bracelet or rubber
strap.

"To John Harrison SEA HAWK II"
GIRARD-PERREGAUX is paying tribute to John Harrison with a special
version of its new Sea Hawk that has all the technical features
of the model described above, except for the small seconds at 10.30.
Crafted in white, yellow or pink gold, or in stainless steel with
a white gold bezel, it features a dial which, with its small seconds
and power-reserve indicator, is reminiscent of a marine chronometer.
It comes on a gold or steel bracelet, or a hand-sewn crocodile strap.

SEA
HAWK II®"TO JOHN HARRISON" AUTOMATIC, TITANIUM, SLATE-COLOURED DIAL
The Sea Hawk
II dedicated to John Harrison is now available with a new dial,
shown here in the titanium version.
The dark slate-coloured dial with a small seconds at 10.30, a date
window at 1.30 and a power reserve at 6.00, is delightfully set
off by yellow highlights on the hands and power reserve.
The rubber strap reinforces the model's sporty character.
The watch is also available on a titanium bracelet or on coloured
sharkskin strap.
